Deciding on who to work with for a significant pool and landscaping project is never without its risks. Will the project be completed on time and on budget? Will it exceed expectations? Will the process be smooth, and most importantly, fun?

Tom and his team replaced our retaining wall, or what was left of it ( very old! ). From the start we felt comfortable with Tom and his vision of the final product. His team was hard working all day and clearly have a great working

Overview

Built right the first time.

We start with how you want to use the space — grilling, lounging, dining, hot tub — and design the deck around that. Materials are chosen for your budget, your maintenance tolerance, and the look you're after.

Every deck we build is engineered for proper drainage, ventilation, and frost movement, with concrete footings sized for the load. The result is a deck that still feels solid a decade in.

Frequently asked

Good questions, straight answers.

Composite or wood — which is better?+

Composite costs more upfront but needs almost no maintenance. Cedar and pressure-treated look beautiful and cost less, but need staining or sealing every few years. We'll walk you through the trade-offs.

Do I need a permit?+

In most Ontario municipalities, decks over 24" off grade or attached to the house require a building permit. We handle the application and inspections.

How long does a deck take to build?+

Most residential decks take 1–2 weeks on site once we start, depending on size, height, and railing systems.
